What Is a Nuru Massage

Nuru is the Japanese word for “slippery.” The masseuse applies warm oil to both herself and you, lies on top of you, and massages you with the movement of her entire body, from the front and from behind. Her hands remain almost completely free.

Nori gel or oil?

Original Japanese nuru massage is performed with a gel made from nori seaweed. In the Czech Republic, however, the word nuru has become commonly used for a body-to-body massage, and that is the meaning we use here as well: the massage is performed with warm oil. How is it different from a hand massage

With a classic erotic massage, the hands do the work and the pressure is focused on a small area. Here, the whole body is used to massage you, with softer, more evenly spread pressure, so the next day you won’t feel as sore as after a sports massage. The hands relax your muscles, while body-on-body contact relaxes your mind as well. How much does a nuru massage cost in Prague

A Nuru massage costs 2,200 CZK for 60 minutes, 3,000 CZK for 90 minutes, 4,000 CZK for 120 minutes, and 6,000 CZK for 180 minutes. Prices are for one masseuse and always include shower time, a satin robe, and towels. Payment is made in cash directly to the masseuse on site, in Czech crowns, euros, or dollars.

Which duration should you choose?

Sixty minutes is an introduction: a shower, massage from the front and back, and a finish. It’s ideal if you’re trying it for the first time or only have an hour free. Ninety minutes is what people book most often; the pace slows down noticeably and there’s time left for conversation too. With 120 and 180 minutes, there’s no need to rush anywhere: the masseuse changes positions, returns to what felt best for you, and in between simply lets you lie back and relax. The longer the massage, the slower the pace.

Before You Arrive

You don’t need to bring anything with you — towels, a robe, and shower essentials will be waiting for you on site. It’s best to arrive rested and to avoid eating right before your visit. If anything hurts, you have a recent injury, or there is any area you don’t want touched, tell the masseuse right at the beginning. It’s completely normal, and she will adjust accordingly.
